This is a very clunky way to share my latest newsletter. Very sorry!
Deadlines, romance, shifters, and suspense with contemporary, paranormal, and detective twists are available in one anthology. Right now, At Midnight …The clock is ticking by Lainee Cole, Rena Koontz, and me is on sale for 99cents. Here’s an excerpt from my contribution, Two Days Until Midnight.
Lark might as well have been standing naked in the middle of Crescent Point Square, only far worse, she’d just revealed her true identity. Damn it. There were more important things to address with Tamier, life and death things, without having to explain this.
But she had to get back in that room. She’d left him alone with Lorenzo and that wasn’t fair. She swallowed hard. Do over, please.
She banked and circled around to the window and darted inside, past Tamier, past Lorenzo, and through the first open door inside the room she saw. Inside a spacious bathroom, she snapped into human form and slammed the door closed. Not the smoothest move she could have made but it worked for her purposes.
“Lark. Lark open the door.” Tamier’s voice held no clue of his state of mind.
Thank you for taking the time to read my newsletter. In gratitude to all who support my writing, I’ll be running a new Monthly Readers Giveaway in each issue for subscribers. Shoot me an email requesting to be entered in the giveaway and you’ll be entered in the drawing for a copy of my romantic suspense Dancing with Detective Danger, book one in my Aegar Investigations series. The winner of last month’s drawing is Michelle VanDaley. Congratulations Michelle! Please contact me.
Remember, when you participate in a monthly giveaway, your name also is entered in my Seasonal Big Giveaway for the Big Prize. The summer prize awarded was a $50 gift card, books, and some fun treats. I think I’ll stick with that combo for a while. Thank you to all who have participated. The winner of the Fall Big Giveaway is Mary Margaret Divine. Congratulations! Please email me.
